Ask, and you shall receive....

Over 15 years ago, struggling to grow in my walk with the
Lord, I asked Him to help me find a way to better learn and retain scripture. I
told Him I thought I ought to be further along in my walk by now. I wanted to
be a witness. To share the Gospel. And I pretty much felt like a failure in all
these areas.

Not Audibly, but strongly inside, I felt Him tell me “Sing
them to me". About that time, I began worshipping in a small messianic fellowship
with my son and daughter-in-law. When the pastor, a former rabbi, talk I would
walk away and hear what he had said and want to record it as a song. Right then
and there.

That prompting began a new trajectory in my walk with the
Lord. Weekly, I wrote new scripture songs. I was asked to share them with the fellowship,
and we worshipped together to them.

Before long, I started hearing songs come out of scripture
anytime I heard a sermon. Then, I started hearing songs when I studied the Word
on my own. Soon, I was in the habit of writing numerous songs per month. Then
per week. Now almost daily. Hundreds at a time.

Because God was moving in me to scribe these psalms, hymns,
and spiritual songs, I approached my pastor to pray for me for direction. I
felt God wanted me to do something with these songs he was bestowing upon me.
But I didn't know how to release them.

Then, in the fall of 2024, the Lord moved. My pastor asked
me to partner with him for a Wednesday night "doctrine and doxology"
class at our church. He teaches doctrine, and I bring doxology.

And now, I bring this gifting from the Lord to you.
